Job Title: Senior Engineer II – Vice President

Job Duties: Serve as the subject matter expert in the portfolio management domain. Lead engineering activities of a team of developing portfolio management software to fulfill client contractual obligations, improve software reliability, stability and performance and help reduce operational risk for clients. Ensure timely software package deployment to ensure reliable deployment of requested changes for our clients. Oversee operational software package support to help minimize downtime and mitigate production incidents that impacts the usability of the software for clients. Number of direct reports may vary.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field; and 72 months (6 years) experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 72 months (6 years) of experience involving the following: 1. Core Java, design patterns, multi-threading, unit testing; 2. Building real-time applications or apps that process large volume of data yet remain highly responsive even in high-latency environments; 3. Working with backend engineers, end users, and UX designers when building user interfaces; 4. Full web stack, including protocols, web client server performance tuning and optimization techniques; 5. Agile SDLC, with high test coverage focus, using test frameworks like Cypress, Mocha, Jest, or Karma etc.; 6. Interfacing with RESTful APIs; 7. Leading dev teams, projects, design and technical quality of a significant application, system, or key component; 8. Web platforms and web technologies.
