As a Senior Engineer, you will. + Function as a leader of an agile team and help drive consistent development and test practices with respect to tools, common components, and documentation. + Own all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications and perform hands-on architecture, design, and improvement of systems. + Do requirements gathering, analysis, design and development of integration solutions and APIs. + Connect with stakeholders and business partners on the solution and the implementation aspects at a technical level. + Contribute to high level design as well as detailed design of complex subsystems with emphasis in high availability and low latency. + Partner with technical architects and the architecture governance technical team for solution development and design reviews + Build new micro-services that help manage our rapidly growing footprint. + Improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our platform. + Work on cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with Engineers across organizations. + Build CICD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. + Perform ongoing refactoring of code, quality assurance and testing, applying best practice methodologies and processes. + Provide continuous support for ongoing application availability. + Collaborate/influence within and across teams to create successes with an innovative mindset and challenge the status quo. + Lead and mentor teams of junior engineers. + Embrace a culture of innovation and experimentation while promoting best practice, engage in fun and outcome-oriented culture **Minimum Qualifications** + 12 years of development experience in design & development of scalable & reliable systems. + Hands on experience in developing APIs / Micro Services with Vert.x and Kafka. + Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time and to spec. + Hands on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle and Couchbase. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Hands on experience with Redis distributed cache, S3 Object storage. + Deep understanding of Java programming language, Core Java, multithreading and backend processing. + Hands on experience with Junit, Mockito, PowerMockito and Sonar. + Hands on experience in building Continuous delivery pipeline, Integration and Deployment, DevOps, and test-driven development, monitoring tools such as Kibana. + Experience in supporting mission critical platforms with high levels of availability and service continuity. + Experience in cloud-based architecture and distributed systems. **Qualifications** We back our colleagues and their loved ones with benefits and programs that support their holistic well-being.
