Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer for Plates Preparation to join our team in Biñan, Philippines. In this critical role, you will lead our plate preparation processes, ensuring the highest quality standards for our printing operations.

Oversee and optimize the plate preparation process for various printing projectsAnalyze and troubleshoot complex plate-related issues to maintain production efficiencyDevelop and implement innovative techniques to improve plate quality and longevityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of plate preparation with other production processesTrain and mentor junior staff on plate preparation techniques and best practicesConduct regular quality control checks and maintain detailed documentationStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in plate preparation technology and industry trendsManage inventory of plate materials and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levelsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall production efficiency

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a directly related field is mandatoryExtensive experience of 5-7 years minimum in plate preparation or an equivalent role within the Slider Manufacturing industry is requiredDemonstrated advanced knowledge of diverse plate preparation techniques and cutting-edge technologiesExceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity for critical thinking under high-pressure situationsMeticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality standardsProven track record in implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control processes and documentationIn-depth understanding of materials science as it pertains to plate productionDemonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-stakes, deadline-driven environmentSuperior communication skills and ability to interact professionally at all organizational levelsRelevant industry certifications (e.g., Material Science) will be viewed favorably
