We are currently looking for the right individual to join our Structures Group, in the role of a Secure Design Senior Engineer. This individual will be responsible for:
Performing structural computations for the secure design and analysis of new and existing structures including:Blast resistant designProgressive collapseVehicle barrier analysis and designPhysical security consulting Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural framesAssisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits, calculation review, and shop drawing reviewPreparing technical studies and reportsCoordinate secure design project requirements with other project team disciplinesIn this position, the individual will be required to work closely with a team of Secure Design Engineers and/or Project Managers. A willingness to work in a team environment, following the standards we have in place is a must. A “can-do”, client-focused attitude is crucial.
Qualifications Master’s in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in Structural EngineeringP.E. License required6 - 11 years of experienceDemonstrated career growth that includes 3+ years project management of secure design projects preferredExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong organizational skillsPay Transparency Statement:This position has an annual salary range of $106 - $126K and is, in good faith, an estimate. The actual offered salary will be dependent on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, industry experience and internal equity.
