Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation. **This role in summary** **Hands on experience in Mechanical & Tooling Breakdown maintenance / preventive** **Basic problem solving techniques ( PDCA / QC tools** **5 S** **World class Manufacturing** **Projects improvements** **Your responsibilities will include** + Plan & Identify Tooling & Automation improvement activities on Production line + Interact with Supplier & Advance manufacturing team and provide solutions for Automation development + Able to Study Engineering drawings & Provide feedback + Identify best Suppliers for Tooling & Automation based on Projects + Work along with Cross functional team during development + Process FMEA done before development & take corrective action + Able to prepare Equipment note / RFQ Ensure for all developments + Responsible for Trials & Acceptance of all developments + Coordinate with Cross functional team for Installation & Proving + Ensure CPK done for all Critical activities + Coordinate with Safety officer for all Safety related improvements on Tooling & Automation + Design & Develop Fixtures & Gauges related to Production + Provide feedback & Solution for Design team before Design release + Managing Tool Maintenance in shift + Ensure the safe use of Machines and ensure proper PPE adherence during maintenance + Take action for the Near miss and safety abnormalities + Reporting of Tool Maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF,,OEE,Preventive maintenance, Spare part management) + Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements + Train new employees on how to safely maintain machinery and follow procedures + Conduct meetings to control scrap by taking active measure + Conduct a 5S audit and take action for open points.
