Your responsibilities will include Plan & Identify Tooling & Automation improvement activities on Production lineInteract with Supplier & Advance manufacturing team and provide solutions for Automation developmentAble to Study Engineering drawings & Provide feedbackIdentify best Suppliers for Tooling & Automation based on ProjectsWork along with Cross functional team during developmentProcess FMEA done before development & take corrective actionAble to prepare Equipment note / RFQ Ensure  for all developmentsResponsible for Trials & Acceptance of all developmentsCoordinate with Cross functional team for Installation & ProvingEnsure CPK done for all Critical activitiesCoordinate with Safety officer for all Safety related improvements on Tooling & AutomationDesign & Develop Fixtures & Gauges related to ProductionProvide feedback & Solution for Design team before Design releaseManaging Tool Maintenance in shiftEnsure the safe use of Machines and ensure proper PPE adherence during maintenanceTake action for the Near miss and safety abnormalitiesReporting of Tool Maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF,,OEE,Preventive maintenance, Spare part management)Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvementsTrain new employees on how to safely maintain machinery and follow proceduresConduct meetings to control scrap by taking active measureConduct a 5S audit and take action for open points. Maintain 5S.Drive Cost saving projects create SOP and OPL for the Maintenance ProcessMaintain proper documentation as per ISO requirementsRaise Purchase requirements for the department requirements in SAPSchedules and implements planned maintenance activities including plant shut down and large scale/specialized maintenance activitiesDrives CPK improvements, low cost automation projects, indigenisation of spares, etc.Capable of handling Sheet metal toolings / Jig & FixtureInvestigates and resolves technical and operational problems to drive incremental improvementInteracts with Manufacturing Engineering for installation of new manufacturing equipment and expert technical knowledgeMinimum requirements
