Workforce Development Engineer within TPG
Join our dynamic team as a Workforce Development Engineer in the Technology & Products (TPG) organization, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of technical training! As a Workforce Development Engineer in TPG, you will be responsible for collaborating with management, engineering, and manufacturing team members to develop and facilitate technical training courses and supporting resources. In this position, you will work with department leaders to identify technical training requirements to keep pace with the needs of the global TPG organization. You will conduct needs assessments and analyses to support both short-term and long-term technical training requirements. You will monitor the efficiency of technical training courses and work with department personnel to evaluate and improve existing training. You will collaborate with team members across the global manufacturing organization to cross-train and transfer training materials for use at other sites. Limited travel may be involved.
Successful candidate for this position will have:
The ability to understand technical issues and work with team members at all levels in the organization
The ability to convey technical concepts and information in a meaningful way to audiences with a wide range of technical backgrounds
Skills in course design and development, and have strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Effective project management background with proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects to meet established deadlines
Proficient writing, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivation and direction with a high level of initiative
Advanced computer skills
Experience in 3D modeling, course development and instruction are a plus
Education and Experience:
BS in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Minimum of three years semiconductor experience in any of the following domains: fabrication process, layout, physical design, backend testing, and reliability
