We are now looking for a Senior Engineering Change Manager to join our London office and work closely with our customer, TFL. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Configuration and Change Management team and other internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and the commissioning team. They will be responsible for understanding the details of proposed changes, such as technical specifications, risk and quality implications, verification and validation needs, cost implications, and project timelines.
You’ll make an impact by
Work closely with all internal stakeholders needed to complete the change modification forms, along with all associated paperwork. Develop a comprehensive presentation and supporting materials that clearly articulate the change requests in a customer-friendly manner. Schedule and conduct meetings with the customer's key stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, and decision-makers, to present the change modification forms. Involve all internal stakeholders needed to present the change modification forms and address the customer's concerns or questions. Anticipate and address the customer's concerns, questions, and objections, providing clear and persuasive responses to secure their buy-in. Negotiate with the customer, if necessary, to find mutually acceptable solutions that balance the company's needs and the customer's requirements. Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, including meeting minutes, action items, and the status of change modification forms. Provide regular updates to the Configuration and Change Management team on the progress of the customer approval process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as project management or engineering, to ensure the timely and accurate communication of change-related information to the customer. Continuously seek feedback from the customer to identify areas for improvement in the change management process and the presentation of change modification forms.Your success will be grounded by
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Project Management) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or project management roles. Demonstrated expertise in Configuration Management, Change Management, or related disciplines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and globally distributed teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in evaluating and prioritizing change requests based on feasibility, cost-benefit analysis, and project impact. In-depth knowledge of serialization processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
