Senior Engineering Manager, AdTech

As a Senior Engineering Manager on Lyft Media, you will work on one of Lyft’s newest and fastest growing lines of business focused on building the largest mobility advertising network. We build products that allow brands to engage and drive outcomes with our unique audience throughout their transportation journeys.

Responsibilities: Establish the technical vision and strategic direction for Lyft Media.  Effectively communicate this vision across all levels, including team members, peers, and executive leadership (ELT). Manage, mentor and support a team of managers and engineers, fostering their professional and technical growth. Partner with various stakeholders to drive initiatives that deliver significant business impact. Collaborate closely with the Lyft recruiting team to attract and hire top talent from diverse backgrounds. Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing engineering managers and 5+ years managing teams of 20 or more members. Proven experience in ad tech, including expertise in targeting, measurement, ad serving, ad platforms, and understanding of the overall ad tech ecosystem.  Ability to thrive in a heavily cross-functional environment and drive projects to completion regardless of the organizational structure Passion for building scalable and extensible solutions that enable others and ensure a high-quality product Experience launching consumer facing products and iterating through data-driven experimentation Strong technical foundation in backend engineering Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected range of pay for this position in the New York City area is $200,000 - $250,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
