About the roleInsights from data power most decisions at Robinhood. As a manager of the Agentic AI team you will be working on designing, building and rolling out agentic AI applications across Robinhood's businesses, products and operations. In addition to this, you will help scale the growth of the Agentic AI team by hiring top AI talent from across the industry.
Your day-to-day will involve: Collaborate with several different teams within the company including data infrastructure, product, growth, fraud and risk engineering for building Agentic AI applications. Identify the most pressing issues the company faces which have solutions in Machine Learning and then work your direct reports to ship these solutions. Manage a team of engineers which includes planning and prioritizing projects, conducting 1-1s with your direct reports and providing directions to unblock tasks. About you: Strong technical expertise in Agentic AI, including areas such as reinforcement learning, decision-making systems, or multi-agent coordination. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, or similar, along with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with advanced agent architectures (e.g., BDI models, hierarchical reinforcement learning). Familiarity with deploying autonomous agents in real-world or simulated environments. Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices. Can partner with other leads from engineering, product and design to craft a roadmap and measures of success Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects, balancing scope, resources, and timelines. Ability to identify, hire and retain top AI & ML talent from the industry and leading graduate programs Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering or natural sciences and some experience in software engineering in a production environment Bonus points: Background in ethical AI, interpretability, and fairness in autonomous systems. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
