Job Description

The Mobile Performance, Reliability, and Observability (MPRO) team is responsible for:

Leading Square’s mobile engineering organization to deliver highly performant and reliable experiences to Square’s Customers (Sellers). Providing a unified set of frameworks, tools, and accompanying process evolution that enable teams to observe and improve Seller’s experiences, at scale. Proactively instrument and watch for signals that indicate business/engineering problems and lead cross functional teams to issue resolution.

As a senior engineering manager on the MPRO team, you will lead a team focused on mobile performance, reliability, and observability. We work to improve the performance and reliability of Square’s mobile apps. We also develop tools and accompanying processes to enable engineering teams to collect and prioritize work with performance metrics, debug logs, analytics, & crash reports (and more).

You Will:
