\nExciting Leadership Opportunity within the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) organization!
\nThis position is for the CNS Weather Radar Senior Engineering Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of the CNS Product line. This leadership position spearheads Leadership Effectiveness, Enhancing Competitive Intelligence, Operational Excellence, and Employee Experience within the Electronic Systems CNS organization, enabling a world-class global planning and execution MOS across a vast portfolio of Weather Radar products with Systems, Software, Hardware, RF, & Mechanical content. You will partner with world class engineering and business leaders to implement product strategies, define technology roadmaps, develop program schedules and milestones, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity. Weather Radar product line enhances safety of flight and has several major New Product Introductions in the STRAP timeframe serving the ATR, BGA, and D&S markets.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nDevelop and maintain the Weather Radar Burning Platform, spearhead Employee Engagement, lead Project Execution, Gold Business Enterprise Strategy partnership, and own Product Line Operations\nProductivity innovations leader, enabling optimum coordination within the global CNS Product Lines as well as reaching internal organizations and stakeholders\nSpearhead the CNS NPD Transformation for Speed and 50% cycle time/cost acceleration innovations global deployment, deploy Agile methodologies\nDrive speed and affordability for all NPIs/SRDs/Obsolescence programs\nEnsure proper assignments for RDE programs, and author/present executive-level status, while also understanding and being able to communicate the underlying details.\nMeet HMR, EAC, and UPC targets and ensure Flawless Launch and product ownership from AT TRL 4-6 through IPDS Phase C and in-service support.\nSupport the factory to maintain roll-throughput yield targets.\nLead the team in support of field service operations to diagnose in-field service issues and identify/resolve failure trends.\nPerform Resource Management responsibilities, including Census targets and new hire requisitions, as balanced against business demands.\nAuthor and deliver performance reviews\nTRR/MRR/GSF planning and execution, identifying skill gaps, and solidifying global strategy.\nBuild a world-class global Weather Radar Systems, Software, Hardware, RF, & Mechanical workforce that createsa competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.\n\nThe ideal candidate has a commitment to aviation safety, technical and professional excellence, a commitment to customer satisfaction and growth, demonstrates leadership and delivers on results, has a global mindset and is able to foster teamwork and diversity, demonstrates personal and professional integrity, has strong oral and written communication skills, is able to work across functional boundaries at multiple levels, and can establish strong working relationships within internal/external customers and the certification agencies.

YOU MUST HAVE
\n\n10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, managing diverse global teams\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics\n\nWE VALUE
