What makes this a great opportunity?The Senior Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of global engineering projects within the manufacturing organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing operations, digitalization and IT, to ensure the successful implementation of projects that drive digital transformation and enhance manufacturing processes across multiple sites and geographies. The Senior Engineering Project Manager will initially play a lead role in delivering our digital transformation program through the project management for a global manufacturing execution system and asset care maintenance system.
Role Responsibilities• Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
• Interface with distilleries and packaging sites to drive an effective communication structure during design, implementation, and support phases
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Forecast and track project spending in a detailed manner that satisfies stakeholder requirements.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members and site teams, promoting professional growth and development.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Engineer and/or Project Manager in an engineering, digital systems, or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously or global projects scaling multiple geographies and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to maintain project scope discipline through multi-site launches and project phases.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to understand technical details within manufacturing environments to translate operational needs into digital requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certification in project management.
• Experience with digital transformation projects and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to distilled spirits, packaging, engineering, and lean manufacturing.
• Experience leading projects within relevant industries: Distilled Spirits, Food and Beverage, CPG, Oil & Gas, or similar.
