Reporting to the Head of Engineering PMO, The Technical Engineering Project Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping operational process development for several engineering teams with the help of Engineering and Product Management leaders by adhering to the basics of Agile development methodology. We need a proactive self-starter who can be responsible for program management and cross-functional coordination for various engineering initiatives. We are looking for a flexible team player who works well with others to solve problems and make things work. What You’ll Do: Lead, facilitate, and participate in key Scrum practices and teams across multiple work streams Take the lead in transitioning engineering into a more agile organization Ensure the framework is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theories, practices, and guidelines and help the team achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement through the scrum process Ensure the team is focused on the right tasks and help remove any obstacles Build squads and chapters across the engineering organization Facilitate collaboration with product teams with the goal of creating a well-prioritized backlog with workable stories Manage project dependencies between engineering teams and communicate the project status throughout the project lifecycle to key stakeholders Share sprint metrics (e.g. velocity, burndown charts, etc.) with stakeholders Skills and Qualifications You’ll Need to Have: At least 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development in the technology industry8+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Project ManagerAt least 5 years of experience working with multiple functional domain teams including Developers, QA & Business Analysts Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and Agile frameworks Outstanding communication, facilitation, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to lead multiple simultaneous initiatives and achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment Effective planning and problem solving with product management and software development teams Bachelor’s Degree or higher Scrum Master Certified (preferred)
