As a Senior Digital and Automation Engineering Specialist, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team, leveraging your experience to scout for relevant new technologies, to drive, develop, apply and maintain Digital, Automation and Process Control solutions and standards for the Nutrition category. In addition, you will support the factories in the network with your specific expert knowledge, coach and support Capex project teams and provide Technical Assistance to factories in the field of Electrical, Automation, Process Control, Operation Technology and Digital. **A Day in the Life of a Senior Engineering Specialist – Digital & Automation** + Identify, develop and validate Process Control, Automation and Digital solutions throughout the project life cycle (from experiment to industrialization) + Drive standardization of Operation Technologies and Process Automation solutions for Nutrition processing lines + Ensure Automation, Process Control and Digital deliverables and standards are implemented in investment projects + Lead roll out of standard Process Control, Automation and Digital solutions in Nutrition plants + Support industrialization start-ups till product commissioning + Provide accurate and on-time technical assistance to factories in the area of Process Control, Automation and Digital + Active participation in the Digital and Automation community of the category (knowledge sharing, training, feedback to design) + Actively participate in expert network to promote cross-fertilization between different R&D units + Coach and guide younger team members and Capex project team members in the area of Process Control, Automation and Digital + Translate product and process knowledge into Process Control, Automation and Digital solutions to enable product and process mastership **What will make you successful** + Master in Engineering with a background in Process Automation, Industrial Software, Operation Technologies + Strong experience in Process Automation, Automation and Digital engineering, preferable food, or exposure to process operations in a food Factory (manufacturing environment) + Solid experience in process mastership applications or as corporate engineer of a market or similar experience in other companies + Extensive experience in control system platform (Rockwell/Wonderware/Aveva) and in-depth expertise in automation in manufacturing environments. Process simulation tools is a plus + Experience in the development of engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team, preferably involving different products and technologies in Electrical, Automation and Digital area + Experience in the commissioning & start-up of technical equipment at factories, ideally in Dairy manufacturing process + Strong knowledge and interest in latest Digital, Process Control and Automation technologies applied in the field of Operation Technology + Practical experience and knowledge in advanced process control, data engineering, data analytics, machine learning technologies, process simulation, preventive maintenance planning, and/or maintenance execution is a plus + Full business proficiency in English is a must, any other language is a plus + Strong communication and project management skills, networking capabilities and multidisciplinary teamwork + Ready to travel frequently world-wide up to 30% Nestlé is committed to the accessibility of its recruitment process.
