Job Description This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S. An Enterprise Architect provides technical leadership and is responsible for establishing the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design and implementation approaches for the company’s applications, enterprise, data and/or infrastructure. Creates, evaluates and implements plans and designs proposals for high impact solutions and products involving leading edge technologies and methods considering key factors such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical limitations and criticality. Leads or contributes to designs and frameworks applied to all aspects of products, systems and/or prototypes and eventual implementation. Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Engages in performance/integration testing, problem analysis, business and technical analysis. Possesses broad and deep skills across disciplines, serving as a mentor to others. As an Architect you will be responsible for working in an agile environment and help create the technical road map out to 3-5 years. You will participate on technical councils to help develop operational strategy for new initiatives. Designs should provide extensibility, observability, scalability, security supportability and resilience. An Architect at Enlyte will need to have a deep understanding of the architecture for cloud hosting services such as AWS, Azure and GCS and their SaaS offerings and when they can be used effectively for Enlyte product solutions this includes Disaster Recovery and failover considerations. So what are we looking for? Hands-on architect who is passionate about technology and solving important design challenges. This means you should be technology agnostic, know how to code, and be willing to consider technologies and solutions that are relevant to the business and its goals. A solid understanding and experience of architecture patterns including ESB, SOA, database, integration, and cloud architecture. A self-driven, highly motivated technologist who can work with a high degree of autonomy and is able to prioritize effectively. A business minded person who can work collaboratively and has proven experience in creating influence across product teams, delivery and IS to drive technical efforts. Someone who is articulate and can effectively communicate with technical teams, non-technical business leaders, and clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Software Architecture. Proven ability to collaborate and drive influence with multi-discipline, multi-business unit teams through data-driven decision making. A strong understanding of Agile/scum development process. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on experience developing Proofs-of-concepts, prototypes, and business cases. Technology experience we would have interest in: Service Oriented Architecture design. Solid experience developing software architecture for enterprise level, SaaS based solutions. Distributed systems and architecture experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems. Amazon Web Services, Azure and GCS. C#/.Net or Java. Relational Databases. RESTful API design. AngularJS, React, Redux. Added Bonus technologies: AWS Certifications. NoSQL. Machine Learning. Elastic Search. Redis. Spring Boot. Kubernetes. Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $96,000 - $160,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
