We need a results-oriented Enterprise Architect to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center’s (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division at Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, government product and process owners, and stakeholders to ensure engineering, architecture and/or Configuration Management documents and presentations are produced as required by our government customer.

**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Understand and document the NC3 Enterprise global system-of-systems in support of work to sustain and modernize critical Nuclear Command, Control and Communication systems.
+ Work with senior engineers to develop recommendations concerning the sustainment, modification, and/or elimination and replacement of legacy Nuclear C3 Systems.
+ Participate in the collection and assessment of research that includes proven solutions and emerging concepts for the Nuclear C3 Architecture.
+ Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system-of-systems architecture products using digital engineering tools.
+ Develop, update and maintain architecture artifacts (e.g., baseline and reference architectures) describing the existing and planned future NC3 Enterprise.
+ Work in collaboration with other Architects to support data-driven decisions by DoD Senior Leaders.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Active Top Secret clearance with immediate SCI read-in eligibility.
+ Master’s Degree with 10+ years’ experience, or Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years’ experience, or Associate’s Degree and 14+ years’ experience, or High School Diploma and 16+ years’ experience.
Must possess at least one of the following:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or educational equivalent.
+ Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), and/or Technical Architecture Framework or Information Management (TAFIM).
At least 10 years aggregate experience across the following:
+ Developing/Reviewing Architecture artifacts.
+ Digital Engineering.
+ Systems Modeling Language.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Ability to apply system engineering techniques and/or enterprise architecture concepts to assessing solutions to operational capability gaps.
+ Experience conducting architecture/performance trade-off analysis within engineering designs.
+ Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as NEC, USSTRATCOM, the Joint Staff, and OSD.
+ Understanding of, and experience with, operations and technical characteristics of Nuclear C3 systems to include strategic communications systems, sensor and radar systems, and communications systems deployed at nuclear command centers and on nuclear capable platforms.

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
