Senior Enterprise Architect Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Technical Project Manager to join our Adobe Practice Team.

*This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.

The Sr. Technical Project Manager (Adobe Practice) will coordinate the administrative aspects of multiple projects from inception to completion, focusing on tracking deliverables and monitoring and reporting on project performance. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include defining project scope, resource demand planning, meeting milestones, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Additionally, the role familiarity with utilizing multiple frameworks (e.g., agile, waterfall), aligning them with organizational goals, and overseeing the integration of architecture components across projects. Candidates should have a strong understanding of project management concepts, frameworks, and methodologies and experience in leading enterprise architects.

Example Assignment:

Solution Implementation: Under the oversight of program managers, handle tasks such as data entry and data analysis and understand business and invoice processes. Perform project management, managing project scope and workplans, and coordinating the efforts of multiple Adobe Consulting teams.

Enterprise Architecture Strategy: Perform project management support in a SaaS environment (e.g., Adobe Workfront), managing project scope and workplans, and coordinating Enterprise Architecture strategy engagements across multiple customers.

What You Will Do:

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets across 3-4 active client engagements.

Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and resolving issues.

Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.

Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.

Identify and mitigate project risks.

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Lead and manage enterprise architecture projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.

Utilize enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring they are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Oversee the development and implementation of architecture standards, guidelines, and principles.

Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align enterprise architecture with business needs and technological advancements.

Ensure the integration of enterprise architecture components (business, data, application, technology) across various projects.

Identify and promote the use of architectural patterns and solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Oversee and mentor enterprise architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Ensure the enterprise architecture governance process is followed and maintained.

What You Will Have:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a similar industry.

Strong understanding of project management principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Proficiency in project management software.

Experience in managing enterprise architecture projects and leading enterprise architects.

Deep understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, frameworks (such as TOGAF or Zachman), and methodologies.

Ability to translate business strategies into actionable architectural plans.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and how they can be applied within an enterprise architecture.

Experience with Adobe Workfront is preferred

PMP certification is a plus.
