About the opportunity  
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic change management practitioner to lead our Enterprise Change Centre of Excellence (CoE). As a key member of our Enterprise Change Leadership Team this role will be at the forefront of uplifting Australia Post’s change management capability and cultivating the next generation of change managers and leaders.    
Reporting to the ‘Head of Enterprise Change you will be involved in creating and implementing a strategic plan for future change capability needs, managing the Change Maturity Assessment activity and refining the Change Delivery Framework.

As a key contributor in uplifting change capability, you’ll help shape the future of Australia Post, enhancing our overall effectiveness and driving the successful delivery of our strategic objectives.

What you’ll deliver with us 

Establish strong governance structures to ensure accountability and transparency in change initiativesEstablish a holistic view and operating rhythms for reporting of change activities and impacts across the enterprise (single view of change) Define and manage the change career pathways and competency development for the change team and partnersPartner with People & Culture and business areas to build leader capability to effectively lead and sustain change and support and embed enterprise culture changeCollaborate with Project Management Offices to build change capability within project teams and early in the project phase to define and scope change needsWork with Change practitioners to grow the change practice and further develop the team’s capabilitiesFoster a network of change champions to promote best practices and sustain momentum for change initiatives

 

About you   

Degree qualified in business or a related field, or demonstrated business experience10+ years' experience with end-to-end project management of complex, cross-functional projects and teamsDemonstrated experience using change management principles, theories, practices and project management disciplines, including business benefits realisation and their application to programs of work (Prosci or equivalent accredited)Exposure working with multi-disciplinary technical and functional teams across business divisions e.g. Operations, People, Finance, IT, Procurement, Property which demonstrates the successful management and integration of change programsKnowledge of project management disciplines and associated industry standards (e.g. PMI), and understanding of Waterfall and Agile/SAFe delivery mechanismsRelevant (intermediate) understanding of technical, legislative, contractual and compliance obligations affecting program/projectDemonstrate proven experience in managing projects of varying size and disciplines - meeting business critical deadlines across multiple assignments preferably within large, complex organisationsExcellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, consulting, presenting skills and facilitation of large groups to gather requirements from stakeholders/business functionsStrong commercial and financial acumen
