Responsibilities: The Senior Entertainment Technician is a key within our event team - accountable for leading a crew through successful installation and completion of special event/seasonal projects applying best practices while maintaining safe and professional standards. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills - someone who embodies an eagerness to learn on the job, is self-driven with a passion for delivering quality work, creative, excellent communication, active listener, team player, dependable, problem-solver, project management skills. Attention to detail and the respect for our property is critical. A flexible schedule is feasible to accommodate over-night installations as needed.
ResponsibilitiesDelivers project(s) safely as described in work orders/project scope according to schedule without supervisionReview design, assess location, plan, install, service projectsProper installation of stage equipment as per project scopeMounting transformers, connecting wire runs, programmingClean up all areas affected by installationParticipate in team meetings and provide input towards driving efficienciesAbility to lead a crew(s) providing direction, keeping team on task and on timeProper care, operation, and prep of company Genie lift day before installationProvide advance training to the team Basic Qualifications: 5+ years proven leadership experience5+ years’ experience of programming audio/video/lightingEffective Chinese/English verbal and written communication skillsFull-time availability for a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysTechnically and mechanically inclined able to work with basic hand toolsComfortable working outdoors in inclement and/or extreme weather conditions in a physically active environmentExperience setting up, installing, and troubleshooting advanced technology for new productions or eventsFully understanding of electrical systems and data signal flowStrong on computer and software playback systemAbility to program the stage serverMust have a positive attitude, self-motivated, self-managing, patient with yourself and othersMust be receptive to receiving direction, adaptable to changing needs and possess the ability to take on new taskMust have a proven safety track record - clean driving record and safety-first mindset Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree holder or equivalent work experience.Advanced networking, programming, and computer skillsShow control system and automation skillsDriving license holder (Class 1 & 2) is an advantage.Registration of Electrical Worker/Holder of Safety Training Certificate is an advantage. Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company, including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
