About you and this role We are seeking a Senior Environmental Delivery Specialist at St. Charles Operations located in Hahnville, LA. As the Senior Environmental Delivery Specialist, you will lead facility EH&S compliance and implementation of the compliance management system in support of the license to operate. This role requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. Responsibilities + Provide Environmental guidance to facilities on site. + Permit(s) requirement analysis and compliance plans including documentation strategies and regulatory applicability assessments. + Participate in Environmental incident investigations. + Perform data collection and reporting for environmental compliance data including emissions reporting. + Interpret and apply environmental regulations. + Provide Environmental training development and delivery, Environmental auditing, Environmental management of change review, and delivery of Environmental programs. + Implement Environmental management systems in order to add value to the business, meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate. + Conduct Environmental culture diagnosis and gap closure + Interface with regulatory authorities for inspections, inquiries, audits and provides input for permit negotiations. + Implement new or updated Environmental programs. + Provide Environmental expertise and input to the plants’ efforts for improving operating discipline and documentation. Serve as a reviewer for the plant MOC (Management of Change)process. + Provides updates to environmental permits for their plants and implementation of the requirements management work process. + Provide Environmental expertise to define projects necessary for successful achievement of the corporate Environmental goals. + Streamline Environmental work processes by developing/updating operating discipline and associated tools. Qualifications + A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Science or Technical-related disciplineorrelevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking. + At least 3 years EH&S, manufacturing/environmental permitting or related experience. + Must possess a TWIC cardorbe eligible to obtain a TWIC card. This includes performing permit requirement analysis, compliance plans, and regulatory applicability assessments. + Data Collection and Reporting: The ability to collect and report environmental compliance data, including emissions reporting, is essential for maintaining compliance and providing accurate information to regulatory authorities. + Incident Investigation and Problem-Solving: Participating in environmental incident investigations requires strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. + Training and Communication: Providing environmental training development and delivery, as well as effective communication with regulatory authorities during inspections, inquiries, and audits, is vital for ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. + Project Management and Implementation: Implementing environmental management systems, new or updated environmental programs, and streamlining work processes requires strong project management skills to add value to the business and meet objectives.
