Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment (e.g., vacuum systems, wet etch, lithography, or CMP tools).
+ Experience in semiconductor equipment processes and automation systems (PLCs, robotics, etc).
+ Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Preferred qualifications:
+ 10 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting a broad range of semiconductor processing equipment, including vacuum systems, wet etch, lithography, and CMP tools.
+ Experience with multiple, highly-complex semiconductor equipment (e.g., vacuum, dry etch, PVD/CVD, wet etch, advanced lithography systems, high-volume metrology systems).
+ Experience leading tool installations (including reading and interpreting cut sheets) and proficiency in AutoCAD design.
+ Ability to lead teams and experience working effectively with vendors.
In this role, you will support the maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of semiconductor processing equipment critical to our microLED and Augmented Reality development. You will focus on supporting advanced vacuum systems related to CVD, ICP, and RIE, leveraging your broad understanding of semiconductor manufacturing. You will also have the opportunity to support other critical toolsets, including ECP, CMP, lithography, and wet etch, as needed. Additionally, you will perform installations, implement and carry out preventative maintenance, and work to maximize the reliability and performance of our various toolsets.
Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment across different process areas (e.g., vacuum, lithography, metrology, wet processing, etc).
+ Utilize technical expertise and diagnostic skills to resolve complex equipment issues and implement solutions, including using schematics, diagrams, and test equipment.
+ Provide comprehensive support for critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment across various process areas, including vacuum, lithography, metrology, and wet processing.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to support and manage equipment upgrades and new tool installations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
+ Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and foster a collaborative work environment, supporting teams cross-functionally.
