At MongoDB, we are searching for a visionary ERP Architect to lead the charge in transforming our NetSuite and ERP ecosystem into a streamlined powerhouse of innovation and efficiency. This pivotal role blends deep technical expertise with strategic insight, enabling the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge ERP solutions that align seamlessly with our business goals. As a key technical leader, you’ll have the opportunity to shape critical integrations, customizations, and enhancements while collaborating with high-impact teams across Finance, Quote to Cash, Revenue, Source to Pay, Tax, Sales, and Data Warehousing. This role will be based remotely in the United States. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead solution design and hands-on implementation for NetSuite and similar ERP platforms, such as Workday Financials or SAP, ensuring alignment with business objectives + Design end-to-end architecture for NetSuite ERP implementation or optimization + Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of the NetSuite ERP system + Create system integration designs to connect NetSuite with other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, HRIS, eCommerce platforms) + Anchor Proof of Concept developments + Drive process improvements across finance, accounting, revenue, operations, procurement, tax, audit, and security, aligning workflows with IT security best practices + Lead and mentor new team members and work with cross-functional technical partners + Anything on documentations, and/or helping business partners during quarter end/year end activities and UAT activities + Collaborate with business teams/stakeholders to gather, document functional requirements, integrate business knowledge with technical solutions, and design optimal strategies for processes, workflow automations, and financial system integrations to achieve organizational goals + Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into technical designs and develop, test, and release features using Agile methodologies + Prioritize and balance technical work with the delivery of critical business features, fostering healthy systems while meeting business needs + Evaluate emerging technologies and features, offering strategic recommendations for broader technology solutions beyond core disciplines + Promote and adhere to application development and integration best practices, ensuring sustainable and scalable solutions + Ensure SOX compliance by properly documenting system changes and permission changes + Oversee the development of custom scripts (SuiteScript), workflows, and dashboards + Ensure customization efforts comply with NetSuite’s governance and scalability standards + Implement system controls and conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards + Provide guidance to developers and administrators working on NetSuite-related projects + Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all NetSuite-related queries and decisions **Preferred Qualifications** + 10+ years of experience with NetSuite, including advanced knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics + Proven track record of architecting and implementing NetSuite ERP or similar solutions for complex organizations + Experience integrating NetSuite or similar solutions with other enterprise systems using middleware tools (e.g., Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft) + Experience with SuiteBilling, Advanced Revenue Management, and Adaptive Insights a must have. Concur and Coupa experience are nice to have + Accounting and/or IT background, including knowledge of internal controls and their application within financial applications + Strong understanding of NetSuite modules, including Financials, Order Management and Advanced Revenue Management + Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and oversee complex tasks while prioritizing multiple tasks based on strategic goals + Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ETL/integration tools + Skills in SQL, Python, Bash scripting, web services (REST, SOAP), JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, SuiteScript 2.0/2.1and familiarity with database concepts + Hands-on coding experience for projects as needed + SuiteCloud Developer, Financial User Certification, ERP Consultant certification preferred **Success Measures** The NetSuite Architect will be successful in this role when they can execute the following tasks: **In the first 30 days:** + You will communicate with stakeholders, such as accounting professionals, external consultants, and internal teams, to discuss upcoming projects, challenges, and opportunities within the ERP landscape + Get acquainted with current NetSuite implementation + Collaborate with other administrators or team members to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and support each other in managing the NetSuite platform effectively + Provide support, guidance and educate end-users, such as finance and accounting teams **In the first 60 days:** + Engage with key stakeholders, such as finance and accounting, to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify opportunities for collaboration and synergy + Address any outstanding issues or support tickets related to planning configurations, calculations, or reporting that have arisen since day 30 + Identify opportunities for process improvement or optimization within the planning system configuration and related workflows + Generate reports or analytics to track key performance indicators related to planning, compliance, accuracy, and system utilization for management **In the first 90 days:** + Participate in strategic planning discussions to align with overarching finance initiatives and organizational goals + Maintain proficiency and demonstrate track record of effectively managing NetSuite and contributing to MongoDB’s overall success + Continue to identify opportunities for process improvement or optimization within NetSuite from system configuration to related workflows and reports + Update documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and training materials, to reflect any changes or enhancements made to the planning system since day 60 To drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
