Job Description
Summary:
The Project Manager role leads customer-facing Engineer to Order (ETO) projects in the Power Control Business (PCB) organization. Scope of supply may contain products from the Medium Voltage Business (MVB) and Low Voltage Motor Control Center (LVMCC) business along with 3rd party products and services. The PM will work with many teams including Commercial Engineering, Application Engineering, Finance, Quality, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) and distribution to deliver a positive experience to our customers. The PM will use Project Management Institute (PMI) principles (initiate, plan, implement, monitor, and close) required to deliver and under budget. Tasks include leading the project team, managing scope of supply, project budget, project schedule, project forecasting, stakeholder communication and issue resolution. The PM will lead a project team by influence, oversee the project and act as a single contact to the customer. The PM will help attain customer loyalty and satisfaction while also achieving internal metrics such as earnings, on-time deliveries, and project quality.

Your Responsibilities:Proficiency with Project Management responsibilities such as customer interface, project budget maintenance, project schedule maintenance, contract management and project resources planning.Manage execution of multiple moderate to large-scale projects within margin targets and customer satisfaction.Lead, motivate and work within a multi-discipline technical team environment.Manage an indirect reporting and geographically dispersed engineering, manufacturing, logistic and procurement teams using collaboration tools and remote management skill.Communicate to varying management levels, both internally and externally.Understanding of financial aspects of project management with technical background in power and control.Process information to address potential issues as early as possible to minimize impact, mitigate risk and provide a positive experience for all project stakeholders.Solve financial, commercial, technical, and schedule related issues and the ability to understand the severity of the situation and escalate.Review and understand Contracts and Project SpecificationsImprove and serve others to obtain goalsManage emotions so there are no behaviors getting in the way of effectiveness.Remain calm and being able to think rationally and inclusively.Is known for showing confidence and saying what needs to be said while listening to others' perspectives.Display a realistic approach while engaging others with your vision and goals.Manage others by influencing and managing expectations.Available for all project pressing matters that require their presenceTo work with different cultural backgrounds and time zonesWork non-standard hours when handling global projectsWillingness to travelComplete engagement with all project stakeholders including Customers, Engineers, Production, 3rd party vendors, and ManagementAccept overall quality, financial and schedule responsibility of assigned projects.Lead continuous improvement projectsRecognized resource for the Leadership TeamThe Essentials - You Will Have:Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent knowledge.· Minimum 10 years of experience in process automation or application engineering project management experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.Electrical Automation background with package solution (EPC) experience, including electrical package such as switchgear/MCC/transformer/UPS/DRIVE, E-house experience, Automation control, PLC programming and network.Expertise at simultaneously managing multiple complex customer deliveries.Experience with direct customer contact is required.· Excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills.Manage large multi-million turnkey project experience including multi-vendors and third-party supply.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
