We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all company events across the United States and Canada. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless and impactful experiences for our franchisees, hearing care professionals, and corporate employees at company conventions, training events, celebrations, and more. As the Senior Event Manager, you will report to the Communications Director and oversee the end-to-end event lifecycle—from venue selection and budget management to on-site execution—while collaborating closely with internal teams and external agencies. You will also manage a direct report, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and execute a variety of corporate events, including franchisee meetings, company conventions, incentive trips and professional training sessions. Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including scheduling, venue setup, catering, AV requirements, and on-site coordination. Coordinate and manage external agencies responsible for hotel sourcing, on-site production support, and international destination management coordination. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with financial goals. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining event quality and impact. Manage and mentor a direct report, fostering a collaborative and high-performing event management function. Provide post-event analysis, including feedback collection, performance metrics, and recommendations for future improvements.Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 7+ years of experience in corporate event planning, preferably within a multinational company. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools Strong expertise in planning and executing large-scale conferences, training events, and meetings. Proven ability to manage external agencies, vendors, and budgets effectively. Leadership experience, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Role will include up to 20% international and domestic travel.Preferred Experience and Skills:
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple events simultaneously.[MN positions only] Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $100,000-$115,000
