Senior Executive, Procurement

About us!

As Senior Executive, Procurement – you work closely with the Procurement team to provide daily support for the end-to- end P2P process, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders, understanding vendor prequalification process, purchase requests consolidation, Contract Management and provides full administrative assistance when needed, that best suit the business needs while ensuring operations to run at an optimal level. Responsible for the development and execution of sourcing plans within End Market for Indirect spend categories such as Property (Security service, Cleaning service, Facilities management, Facilities maintenance etc.) across functions in locally/ regionally. To ensure compliance of all procurement activities adhere with policies, standards, and platforms to deliver robust terms and conditions that manage Carsome’s service delivery and commercial risk. Plan, develop, and organize continuous improvement of procurement process effectively and efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day

Responsible for coordinating with Business Units on sourcing request (non-trade). Responsible for end-to-end procure to payment process and holds great ownership in tasks allocated. Oversees vendor registration process to ensure transparency and due diligence are in place. Ensures all procurement records are compiled and saved in proper order, compliance with Procurement Policy. Manages bi-weekly and monthly reports and trackers or as and when requested by Management. Facilitate negotiations for local manage suppliers within scope to ensure business continuity supply including
contracts renewal is in place. Contribution to the Cost Reduction Program in accordance with agreed savings targets Business analysis e.g., procurement positioning and Spend analysis, reporting Knowledge transfer to other team members Local support and training to the business users Assist and support in all areas for Procurement team whenever required.

You Know-How

A tertiary qualification or equivalent. At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in procurement team - understanding in automotive and e-commerce
industry or property management will be an advantage.
Good command in English & B. Malaysia, knowledge in local language is an advantage.Proven ability to work within fast-paced and dynamic work environments.Resourceful and able to identify any potential threat or unusual activities in Procurement processes including
advanced negotiation& influencing skills. Required Skill(s): Intermediate Excel, Words, ERPExcellent interpersonal & communication skill, accountable and good analytical skill, project management to be
advanceSelf-aware, Proactive, works collaboratively and champions inclusivity able to consolidate information and data
well, strong understanding of procurement and finance requirements.
