Senior Executive Assistant

Pay Range:

$34.38 - $44.56

Responsible for supporting company executives through a combination of project management, writing and editing, research, and administrative tasks.

Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job

Manages special projects for the Senior Vice President or PresidentManages calendars, meeting schedules and travelAnticipates needs based on scheduled obligationsPrioritizes emails, phone calls and messagesAs assigned, acts as a direct point of contact on behalf of their senior leaderMeets and manages internal and external deadlinesCoordinates research, planning, development and evaluation of new programs and other business developmentPrepares policy briefings, talking points, presentations and proposals for internal and external meetingsSchedules, prepares materials and notes, and ensures follow-up for various Board, leadership and staff meetingsDrafts and edits various documents including internal/external correspondenceAssists in the development and implementation of business/growth strategies and marketing plans for clinical products and services, payers and the medical staffMonitors, analyzes and reports on healthcare industry trendsPrepares findings of market survey results for system leadershipResearches and prepares briefing materials for key meetings and presentationsRecords and composes minutes for board meetings

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required:

Associate’s degree - requiredBachelor’s degree – preferred

Experience Required:

Five years’ experience in a high-level administrative support position – requiredExperience supporting executive level staff – preferred

Knowledge of:

Healthcare industry and relevant trends

Skills in:

OrganizationOral and written communicationExcellent spelling, grammar, and editing skills

Ability to:

Deal with high-level outside influencesPartner (collaborate) and work well with people at all levelsIdentify creative solutions that address time, budget, qualityMake decisions and maintain confidentialityInitiate and complete projects with minimal supervision

Travel Required: 

Less than 10% travel expected.
