Senior Export Coordinator
Senior Export Coordinator is supervising and ensuring compliance with export regulations, managing customs documentation, and facilitating the smooth flow of goods across countries. The role is ensuring compliance with export controls, trade sanctions, and embargoes in various countries. The coordinator keeps regular contact with the Export Manager and Tax Teams and makes sure processes are updated cross Export Teams.
In this role You will:
Be the centre of expertise for Customs and Export processes and drive compliancy and automation projects cross the Export Organization Regular and ad hoc preparation and analysis of reports Trouble-shootSupporting the management decision to deliver strategyComplete day to day customer service related operational tasks to ensure delivery meets customer expectations and is consistent with set process performance indicators (PPI) and service level agreements (SLA) in line with core customer service valuesProvide regular information to our customers on the progress of their delivery/shipmentTimely and accurate creation and dispatching of documents required for the shipments (e.g.: CoO, CoA, packing list, etc.)Timely raising of issues, product shortages or loading bottlenecksAdhere to International Trade Regulations (ITR) and Anti-Corruption and Bribery (ACB) requirements, highlight and raise any issues discovered related to theseOpen, active and proactive communication with internal and 3rd party partners (warehouse, plant, forwarder, DRP, GSC, etc.)Ensure the Delegation of Authority is in place for any new or amendment of existing requestsProvide expertise and support for major projects as and when requiredCoordinate and provide expertise for change functions such as regression testing, change request, design forums and system rolloutsContinuously review the reporting process and tools, find opportunities for improvement, recommend changes and support implementationProactively maximise the benefits delivered by BP’s core systems by optimising system usage and outputIdentify and implement improvements to data governance processes to reduce the number of errors occurring and minimise reworkWhat You will need to be successful:
Minimum 5 years relevant logistics experience, focusing on Customs Processes Fluency in EnglishCertification of transportation of dangerous goods and customs is an advantageHigh level of SAP and Salesforce Proficiency High degree of end to end O2C process understandingMust demonstrate a strong understanding of customers’ needs / behavioursExcellent written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships Strong understanding of end to end order to cash process included customer specific requirements Strong time management and organisation skillsStrong problem solving skillsHighly motivated, self-reliant and proactive attitudeExperience using SAP and Microsoft Office applicationSenior stakeholder-management skillsAt bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you:
