As a Facilities Construction Sr Manager, you will lead the overall Construction, Tool Install schedule, activities and cost to ensure work is implemented within schedule and budget. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, people and contractor management. Your position requires the ability to develop solid inter-group relationships between internal and external customers. Your dedication and approach to ensure compliance with local procedure, safety and quality as per site requirement.
This individual ensures development of the team with adequate training and coaching. The Facilities Tool Install Section Manager coordinates activities with other facilities groups, manages staff, spare and consumables inventories and budgets. This position will require an on-site presence at our Clay, New York site. Relocation is available for individuals who are not in the immediate area.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Develop the team to carry out and supervise construction and tool-install projects to support Wafer Fab manufacturing equipment.Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and system reliability for cleanroom systems.Solve issues/interruptions related to manufacturing equipment and cleanroom environment.Establish area budgets and lead all costs associated with tool-install /maintenance activities.Lead and drive continual cost reduction programs for tool-install activities and maintenance for the section to support department and site cost goals.Provide comprehensive solutions that take into account wider implications, gathering its essential elements and accurately linking related elements. This may include analyzing issues from different perspectives with a goal to develop the best course of action for the team and the department.Drive continual improvement programs to improve the Quality and Reliability of systems to ensure maximum uptime and minimal impact to production. Train and lead the team to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective CA/PA in detailed manner.Lead and manage all aspects of EHS for the section and ensure compliance to EHS related regulations/procedures by section and the contractors engaged.Collaborate with other Sections, departments and corporate groups to support common goals and projects. Support and/or lead department wide projects and programs as required (Example: Energy Efficiency, Policy Deployment etc.)Set and clearly communicate goals, empower the team, oversee employee development, develop performance plans for all direct employees and conduct performance evaluations.Take genuine interest in team members, provides constructive feedback, effective mentoring and be willing to impart knowledge and expertise to others.Ensure All Site activities are performed in accordance to Facilities Disciplines.All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frameFor business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:

$121,000.00 - $211,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
