With a focus on injection molding and automation, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting cutting-edge production processes. **Position** Senior Facilities Engineer (2nd or 3rd Shift) **Location** USA, Louisville, KY **How You'll Create Possibilities** As the Senior Facilities Engineer, you will: + **Lead Plant Support:** Be the go-to expert for plant infrastructure systems, including power, water, air, lighting, and gas, as well as manufacturing equipment. + **Optimize Operations:** Oversee the efficient operation of facility systems like lighting, compressors, chillers, and cooling towers, ensuring minimal downtime. + **Manage Utilities:** Own the plant’s utility budget, tracking usage and implementing cost-control strategies. + **Troubleshoot & Innovate:** Identify recurring challenges, troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity. + **Collaborate Across Teams:** Foster strong relationships with the Maintenance team, promoting accountability and shared success. + **Document Success:** Use our eAM system to record field service reports, maintenance activities, and action plans for long-term solutions. + **Drive Excellence:** Lead Level 2 diagnostics, support TPM initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure improvements. **What You'll Bring to Our Team** + **Education & Experience:** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering **OR** equivalent hands-on expertise, with at least 5 years in facilities management, maintenance, or mechanical engineering. + **Technical Expertise:** A foundation in electrical, mechanical, and structural systems, plus familiarity with machining processes like milling, welding, and grinding. + **Problem-Solving Mastery:** Exceptional root cause analysis skills paired with mechanical aptitude. + **Leadership Skills:** Proven ability to inspire, communicate, and build cohesive teams. + **Project Management:** Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects with long-term planning. + **Tech Savvy:** Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and PLC programming, and strong troubleshooting skills for automation and robotics. + **Process Improvement Focus:** Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. **Why Join Us?** + Be part of an innovative team driving manufacturing excellence. + Work with advanced technologies in automation and robotics. + Thrive in a collaborative and growth-focused environment. + Competitive compensation and shift flexibility. **Apply today and engineer your future with us!** **Our Culture** Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
