Senior Facilities Manager - Melbourne Job ID 182712 Posted 30-Aug-2024 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Administrative, Engineering/Maintenance, Facilities Management Location(s) Melbourne - Victoria - Australia + **Work for a new CBRE GWS client who are global leaders in management consulting** + **Exciting leadership role managing soft and hard FM services** + **Based in Melbourne CBD** **Here's what you’ll achieve:** + Responsible for the day to day running of both the hard and soft services, organising the site team and supply chain to meet contractual outputs and objectives of each account. + Managing & having accountability for the P&L and maintaining agreed profit margins + Full accountability and ownership of the staff on the accounts from Facilities Managers to technician, recruiting, retaining, appraising, and leading as required. + Assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures, emergency, and contingency plans. + Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and regularly review the H&S policy. + Consulting detailed contract reviews for each account and owning CBRE standard procedures. + Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, and make sure that contracts are re-won on re-tender. + Develop, implement, and monitor yearly service plans, KPIs, targets and financial plans. + Build a relationship with the client to become the first point of contact for any works and all aspects of contract problems (defects & deficiencies) on their sites. + Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings. + Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training for plant and systems as they are installed. This may require nights away from home. **About you:** + Minimum 6 years proven experience in a property-based senior facilities role with experience in managing and developing of geographically disbursed teams. + Ability to travel, driver's license will be required. + Good understanding of financials, specifically budget preparation, managing portfolio to a budget, fulfilling reporting requirements, project, and service-related financial management. + People management experience and good negotiation and influencing skills. + Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. + Good working knowledge of the current Health & Safety at work Act. + Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. + Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook. Ability to use work order management systems. + Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
