Senior Facilities Support Professional (Austin, TX)
As a Facility Support Professional at Jacobs, your role is critical to keep our offices running and allowing our teams to focus on delivering. As part of our Real Estate Operations, you’ll join our collaborative team to support facility operations, including upkeep, reception services, and office-related health, safety, security, and sustainability. We are looking for a passionate Senior Facilities Support Professional in Austin, TX who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of facility services and activities within an office and ensure that the office is provided with equipment, supplies, and services necessary for daily operations and partner with business leaders on office-related issues. You'll provide reception services, assist internal clients, maintain the office, front office security, and respond to tasks related to facility management and appearance. In this role, you will communicate with office staff regarding facility-related issues or information, in line with any corporate guidelines, serve as the onsite contact for building management and local service providers, and review and understand local office lease terms and requirements. You'll manage office overhead and monitor financial reports to ensure accuracy, provide input to annual business planning as it relates to the local office, and ensure all required Real Estate Operations Finance reporting and reviews are completed. In addition, you will process invoices and charges related to local facility management, generate purchase requests, approve invoices and gather bid when needed for Facilities requirements or changes, as well as provide support for Human Resources where requested and other duties assigned by your supervisor. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global, and local. * 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities or real estate operations experience and procurement, budgeting, or other financial experience * Advanced Microsoft Office skills * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX Ideally, you’ll also have: * Experience in a role that requires successful conflict resolution * Ability to forge and maintain relationships with all levels of leadership and staff Additional requirement: Responsibilities may require physical activity, including some or all of the following activities: Bending, stooping, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs and/or ladders, sitting for long period of time, and typing. #LI-MP1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
