The Senior Facility Technician oversees the maintenance and repair of the organization's facilities, systems, and equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components. They conduct routine and complex assignments independently, perform preventive updates and repairs, and coordinate with vendors as needed. This role requires proactive monitoring of operations to ensure timely and efficient task execution.

Responsibilities Facilities Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive updates and repairs on facilities, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting, as well as mechanical, HVAC, and environmental systems. Work Order Management and Technical Support: Receive, prioritize, and fulfill work orders, making advanced repairs and coordinating external technicians. Conduct regular inspections for necessary repairs. Equipment Installation and Inventory Management: Install, relocate, and manage inventory for fixtures, lab equipment, and repository items. Support and Coordination: Assist in reviewing schedules, layouts, or designs, providing solutions. Schedule maintenance to minimize disruptions and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regularly. Compliance, Safety, and Documentation: Ensure high ethical and safety standards for a clean work environment. Accurately record entries in Facility, Document, and Records Management systems. Follow protocols for equipment validation/qualification and perform on-call duties as needed.  Qualifications Highschool diploma and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent Hands-on experience in equipment installation, relocation, and maintenance. Effective communication skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities  Benefits
