Location: UK or Ireland

Work Mode: Hybrid (1 per week) or Home based (with availability to go to the office 1 per month)

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Field Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in the UKI and Nordic regions. The ideal candidate will have 10yrs+ experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on driving pipeline and enabling sales to achieve new business growth expansion in target segments (Enterprise and SMB) for the regions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of driving successful marketing programs in the region. In this role, you’ll drive awareness, generate demand, and fuel pipeline growth

 

As the team leader, you will work across the organization to develop an effective go-to-market strategy and execute high-impact B2B integrated marketing campaigns using Marketing Automation, Demand Generation tactics, and expertly executed events. You bring exceptional leadership and communication skills, are focused on sales growth, and have a proven marketing track record in field marketing/regional marketing.

 

As a pivotal member of the team, you will work closely with the Field Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to position Bentley as the preferred Infrastructure Software company in the region. This position reports to the VP of Field Marketing.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

Lead and manage the UKI & Nordic field marketing teams. Develop, plan, and execute strategic local marketing programs aligned to regional targets and industry priorities with a focus on generating pipeline, as well as improving brand recognition of the Bentley and specific products where relevant. Manage the UKI & Nordic Field marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Track and report on key marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement Develop and execute the Go-To-Market plans to support market opportunities and sales priorities, including planning and management processes, event support, and digital campaign execution. Amplify the Bentley brand through awareness and thought leadership initiatives. Tailor global marketing materials and campaigns to resonate with diverse local audiences, ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance, localizing content/messaging, and workflow process to publish and promote campaigns to support sales and regional programs. Align and collaborate with key stakeholders, including Sales leadership, product and industry marketing, channel partners, and other marketing teams (such as creative services and digital marketing). Participate in the planning and execution of overall sales strategy to support targeted growth in regions. Develop and maintain an up-to-date Regional Program Plan for the Go-to-Market strategy; this plan will include the full use of the marketing mix including online and print advertising, physical and virtual events (third party, Bentley-led, and executive briefings), PR, and social media. Oversee Brand Presence and attendance at regional and local events, trade shows, and conferences, ensuring optimal showcasing of Bentley’s brand and solutions. Create, schedule, and execute social media content and repurpose corporate social media content on local channels, where appropriate. Support PR activity for the region and where agreed, work with the local PR agency in conjunction with Media Services to achieve agreed PR targets including building a regional understanding of the important media (magazines/websites/blogs, etc.). Work with the relevant marketing and sales teams, when required, to develop regional local user stories, award submissions, news items, and press releases that are aligned to Go-to-market plans and corporate marketing messaging. Support Corporate initiatives, including Year in Infrastructure Conference and the Going Digital Awards Program. Use reporting tools to communicate on performance and outcome of marketing programs in a timely manner to Sales and Marketing stakeholders against agreed targets and performance metrics. Coordinate/manage Bentley Executive visits with local sales leadership and Corporate. Engage with the Digital Marketing team and other collaborators for data acquisition, cleanup, and segmentation requirements for the local region. Work with key strategic partners, business units across Bentley, and other industry associations, to leverage resources and support special initiatives and programs in-region.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

10+ years of B2B Marketing Experience BA or BS degree (MBA in marketing or related business degree preferred) Strong English writing and communication skills required Proven track record in people management Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work at all levels of the organization Experience in working in a multi-matrix environment, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to think strategically as well as implement tactically Experience working with tools like PowerBI, Marketo, Salesforce, Miro, Smartsheet’s or similar marketing, CRM and project management tools Willingness to travel within the UKI and Nordic regions as needed. Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
