Senior Field Mechanical/Piping Engineer (2:1 FIFO)
An established and highly regarded EPCM company is seeking a Senior Field Mechanical/Piping Engineer to join their team in Balranald, NSW. This dynamic role offers playing a key role in providing engineering services, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.

Duration: 12-months
FIFO Roster: 2:1 (10.5 hours/day)
Location: Balranald, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Perform mechanical engineering services such as: Producing detailed conveyor calculations, equipment datasheets and scopes of works; Ensuring the project scope is well-defined and managing changes according to project change management processes; Preparing progress reports, following review processes Staying informed with the latest developments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering. Supporting and mentoring junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team. Maintaining clear communication with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant qualifications. Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia. Senior level role with extensive years of experience. Site construction and commissioning support. Experience with Mineral Sands processing plants. Experience with installation and commissioning of pump / piping systems. Experience with materials handling systems. A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. ONLY candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered. (Australian Citizen, PR holder, or Valid Australia working VISA with no restrictions)
