Your role will involve troubleshooting, scheduled service activities, and applying advanced engineering principles to diagnose and solve issues. You will document service activities in compliance with Hach’s policies and procedures. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** • Providing on-demand frontline field service support and workshop repairs for Hach customers. • Installing and verifying proper operation of instrument systems at customer sites. • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, including calibration, hardware, or software upgrades, and verifying completed work. • Maintaining spare parts inventory and providing input on parts usage related to failures. • Providing backup service support outside of assigned territory when needed. • Offering technical support at Hach trade shows, sales demonstrations, and customer sites. **The essential requirements of the job include:** • BS degree/diploma in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer ideally in the Water Industry. **• Willingness and flexibility to travel long distances and lodge away from home (~ 2-4 nights a month when required to fulfill required duties)** At Hach (www.haceh.com) we ensure water quality for people around the world, and every associate plays a vital role in that mission.
