**Senior Field Specialist, Strategic Equipment**
**Position Summary**
This role is dedicated to selected accounts with the responsibility of increasing market share by integrating solutions across all business lines.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Manage equipment relationships within an assigned list of contracted global accounts.
+ Provide administrative support to Client Executives (CEs) in executing defined account MPS strategies across all locations.
+ Recommend products, prepare quotations, and secure sales documentation for equipment orders within centralized contracted global accounts.
+ Drive end-of-lease upgrades, identify opportunities for new sites, and lead competitive conversions.
+ Maintain detailed records of account activity in the sales database and regularly communicate with CEs regarding opportunities and issues.
+ Maintain and update customer-specific product catalogs (including e-commerce) and support customer certification of new models.
+ Coordinate post-sale delivery and implementation of RICOH hardware and MPS-related solutions; act as the primary contact for all sales documentation.
+ Proactively develop new customer contacts, review leads, participate in customer business planning, and deliver RICOH solution proposals.
+ Maintain account base and achieve revenue targets aligned with renewal opportunities.
+ Promote contracted products at approved terms and represent the company at off-site customer meetings.
+ Serve as the first point of contact for MPS hardware and software-related solutions.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
+ Previous major account management experience required.
+ Proven ability to set goals and prioritize realistic objectives.
+ 5–7 years of related experience; 2–5 years of sales experience preferred.
**Skills and Competencies**
+ Deep understanding of sales methodologies and processes in a matrixed environment, especially with Fortune 1000 clients.
+ Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal, time management, and self-motivation skills.
+ Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
+ Ability to work effectively within diverse teams to develop account strategies.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of industry products and services.
+ Ability to interpret and apply complex data and instructions; capable of conveying technical information clearly.
+ Skilled in up-selling strategies and facilitating sales efforts across field resources.
+ Proven ability to build and maintain key relationships outside the sales function.
+ Analytical skills to identify issues and propose solutions using data from multiple sources.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
**Working Conditions**
+ Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
+ Work is mostly sedentary but may involve occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting objects under 10 lbs.
+ Requires moderate dexterity and regular use of basic tools (e.g., keyboard, calculator).
+ Daily customer site visits required; locations may not be accessible via public transportation.
