ConGlobal is looking for a Senior Field Technician to help us scale our technology operations. As a member of our Implementation and Deployment Services Team, you will be integrally involved Deploying and Supporting our cutting-edge Technology Systems.ConGlobal has been firmly planted in the intermodal industry for more than half a century. We have a passion for innovation and continue to lead out in developing products that enhance our operations, unlock new markets, and disrupt the status quo. As a Senior Field Technician, you will serve our internal and external customers by installing, commissioning, and supporting our Advanced Solutions Technology Systems. This role will be based out of Fort Worth, Texas with frequent travel 75% or more of the time.

Responsibilities Quickly achieve technical proficiency of all ConGlobal advanced solutions for installation, implementation, deployment, testing trouble shooting, servicing and supportingInstall, deploy, and commission new automated systems per project plans, working closely with ConGlobal Project Manager and customer site personnel.Act as a subject matter expert to support field team and activities, leading and training new team members.Communicate with clients to explain complex issues, when requiredInstall electro/mechanical technology systems on ground-based vehicles, including metal bracketry, electronic housing assemblies, cameras, routing interconnecting cabling and connecting the technology systems to the ground-based vehicles for power and feedback.Diagnose and resolve software, electrical, electronic, computer and hardware problems as they arise.Utilize a variety of hand tools and power tools as required.Timely submittal of reports, and expenses, always pursue the lowest cost way to effectively run the business and schedule travel.Implement engineering changes as required.Draft and submit internal facing reports.Record data as required by development engineers. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of applicable field experience2 to 3 years of applicable field experience leading a teamExtensive knowledge and utilization of hand tools and power toolsExperience and/or understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.Knowledge of Microsoft office and willingness to learn various business computer systems as required.Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines.Willingness and desire to learn and grow while paying attention to detail.Ability to work overtime and weekends.Valid US Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications: 

Technical Degree in a related fieldPrevious experience field installing, deploying, repairing equipment and systems.Experience and/or understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.Working Knowledge and understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Experience and certification for operating equipment IE: scissor lifts, forklifts, boom lifts.
