Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Finance Analyst to support ServiceNow’s Customer Excellence Group. This role will be crucial in driving financial performance, optimizing renewal processes, and supporting our customer retention efforts. Join our team and play a crucial role in driving financial performance and customer retention in the dynamic world of Enterprise SaaS.
What you get to do in this role:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with Renewals objectives, focusing on customer retention and NNACV development
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for the Renewals organization, providing accurate renewal forecasts (incl. key metrics such as RACV and GRR) for AOP and LRP
Analyze key performance indicators and financial metrics to provide actionable insights for improving customer retention and scale
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, StratOps and cross-functional teams to identify at-risk customers and develop targeted churn mitigation strategies
Prepare and present financial reports, including budget vs. actual variance analysis and renewal forecasts, to senior management
Drive process improvements and scaling projects to enhance renewal predictability and operational efficiency
QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on SaaS renewals or subscription-based business models
Proven track record of providing strategic financial guidance and driving operational excellence in renewals management
Some experience with Sales/Planning systems, such as Dynamics, Varicent and Anaplan
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle management, and renewal best practices
