 Humana Pharmacy Solutions Finance is responsible for various financial flows with the pharmacies and members. Senior Financial Analytics Professional manages data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues. The Senior Financial Analytics Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Humana is seeking a Senior Financial Analytics Professional to support various financial processes in the pharmacy line of business.  The responsibilities will include completing financial analysis and reports, developing and maintaining various dashboards and metrics, participating in pharmacy claims adjudication testing, and supporting the team in various initiatives related to financial recovery and payments.  Other responsibilities will be assigned according with the business needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

5 or more years of analytics experience

Experience creating and modifying queries and codes using SQL and/or VBA

Demonstrated proficiency with PowerBI and/or Tableau

Experience working with moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Must be able to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience in managing data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning and specific business performance issues

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Limited travel may be required in special circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Advanced skills in Excel, Access, PowerBI, SQL, and VBA

Project Management Certification

*The ideal candidate would be open to coming into the office (the Waterside Building in Louisville KY) one day per week (Wednesdays) each week to engage with the team.

*Travel may be required should a business need arise but is rare.

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$89,000 - $121,400 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
