The opportunity:
Our retail energy business has more than 700,000 customer accounts and is at the forefront of low-carbon products, services and technologies, which help Australian households manage their energy bills and emissions.
You will report to the Finance Manager, ENGIE Retail and co-pilot the ENGIE Retail stakeholder group from an OPEX perspective.
You will possesses a strong foundational knowledge in core accounting processes with several years’ commercial experience, pro-actively supporting key leaders in making key business decisions to drive optimised future business performance.
Responsibilities will include:
Finance Partnering with the Consumer Retail Global Business Unit (GBU) with a focus on OPEX (Marketing, Sales, Digital, & Operations) Preparation and delivery of business financial objectives by providing analysis, insight and challenge decisions, as well as focussing on future performance with preparing financial forecasts and budgets Support the budget, forecasting and month-end closing process (partnering with Shared Services Finance Teams) Be the key driver of continuous improvement initiatives for key models and tools utilised by the finance team to support business decision makingAbout you:
Excellent stakeholder management skills CA or CPA qualified Adaptive to change and able to influence outcomes Sound analytical skills and business acumen Outcome focused and team player Relevant experience in similar commercial finance position, any industry
