Are you an experienced financial controller with experience overseeing financial reporting, budget-ing, and compliance whist providing strategic insights to senior management?
As the Senior Finance Controller for Corporate Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial processes and reporting.
This position will play an important role in developing, establishing and managing financial control processes from scratch. You will be responsible for overseeing departmental budgets, ensuring fi-nancial accuracy, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
The position
The Finance Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial analysis, and contribute to business decision-making.
Your key responsibilities, amongst others, will include:
Identify financial controlling processes for Corporate Facilities (CFa). Implement and operationalise the financial processes together with cross functional teams in CFa and other parts of Novo Nordisk. Lead the financial planning and budget management processes of different business areas within CFa, ensuring alignment with CFa’ s-, corporate goals and objectives. Create and analyse financial data with key insights on budget performances and trends to support financial strategies and operational goals. Establish and maintain key-data forecasting and analysis with identified potential risks as a foundation for business cases and decision-making. Conduct internal controls to ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk policies and regulations. Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to audit requirements. Participate in maintenance of the structure and related departmental financial IT controlling and planning tools.
Qualifications
We imagine that you have strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive continu-ous improvement in financial operations. Other qualifications:
A degree in Finance, Economics, Business (or equivalent). 5+ years’ experience in financial controlling, financial analyses, accounting and/or other fi-nance disciplines within a corporate environment. Proven track record of establishing financial processes and managing budgets from scratch. Track record and solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex fi-nancial information clearly and concisely. High proficiency with Excel and Power Point, especially related to large data sets and re-porting. Fluent in English and Danish Thrive in a dynamic work environment Can bring a healthy sense of humor to your work even when the pressure is on.

CFa Strategy Project Controls & Business Support is a growing team, anchored in CFa Strategy, Cor-porate Facilities (CFa). The team will support investment projects and financial processes across CFa. The focus will be on developing efficient standards and processes for projects and the CFa organisa-tion.
