Senior Finance Director, Global Accounts-Warranty
The Senior Finance Director, Global Accounts – AIG Warranty Division role is a critical position in the success of AIG’s Global Warranty Services business. The role is responsible for the development and building of the requirements and efficacy of financial analysis and forecasting. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Global Accounts and will be critical in the overall continuity of financial reporting for internal/external clients along with forecast and analysis for strategic projects, ensuring growth goals are achieved, resulting in driving revenue and profit for AIG and our clients.
Responsibilities:
+ Works on the Global Accounts team with the Warranty Finance team to ensure alignment on reporting, reconciliation, accuracy and forecasting for our programs.
+ Work with Global Warranty Actuaries to track profit share, rate reviews, support reinsurance schemes, and have a line of sight into all flow of funds.
+ Responsible for gathering the requirements for the Global Accounts reporting needs. Including optimizing and/or developing new reports, and providing program analysis in coordination with Warranty Finance, Actuaries, and Controllers.
+ Interpret, and provide written detailed analysis of reports and trends to senior leadership.
+ Proficiency in SQL and Excel is crucial for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis to be able to lead requests for new reporting.
+ Monitor program performance and identify areas for improvement and opportunities to gain efficiency, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans.
+ Maintain metrics and KPIs , and all matters of forecasting. including sales, claims, etc.
+ Ability to lead internal calls, providing agendas, meeting goals, and tracking all deliverables
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration.
+ 8+ years of experience in data analytics or other finance role
+ Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required. Tableau or a similar reporting tool is preferred.
+ Ability to document and present findings and recommendations to senior management
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
+ Be curious. Ask questions, chase answers, enjoy the process of driving incremental improvements.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective improvement plans.
+ Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
+ Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
