Senior Finance Director
The Sr Finance Director will provide financial advice and recommendations on all strategic and operational issues for the business.  Responsible for leading all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, controls and financial compliance, operations analysis, budgeting, capital planning, and overall financial support to the business. The Sr Finance Director participates in developing the strategic direction of the business, monitoring the performance, performing analyses of potential business opportunities and drives performance to the business goals.  Responsible for directing and managing all financial activities in a manner designed to support strategic initiatives, maximize forecast accuracy, protect assets, meet internal and external reporting requirements, and provide for all strategic planning for the financial needs of the business. Responsibilities and Duties + Provide financial leadership in the development of long-term and annual plans that align with strategic objectives and business goals to achieve financial and operational success. + Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clear communication of business priorities and financial targets. + Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements, maintaining transparency with stakeholders. + Strengthen and maintain internal controls to support business growth and operational efficiency. + Assist leadership in analyzing financial performance, identifying key drivers, and recommending improvements to enhance profitability, operations, and productivity. + Lead special projects, including acquisitions, capital expenditures, and other critical financial initiatives. + Manage all aspects of the financial close process and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with GAAP and relevant government regulations. + Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley internal control compliance, including testing, reporting, and remediation. + Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for government-funded programs, including preparing and submitting indirect rates. + Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements, staying current on evolving regulations. + Coordinate and support both internal and external audits, including DCAA, DCMA, and other regulatory audits. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities + Experience in strategic planning and execution with emphasis on growth and investment in highly competitive market environments. + Strong analytical skills – able to assist in identifying and providing solutions to complex operational and financial issues.  Able to create clear action plans. + Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others through appropriate influencing and negotiation strategies, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Effective leader with proven ability to develop talent, coach, and mentor employees and create a culture of employee accountability and engagement. + Exhibits a strong ability to handle complex demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy. + Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time in a matrixed environment. + Ability to drive solutions to complex operational and financial issues. + Strong analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Qualifications and Required Skills + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sen.
