Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our World Wide, Small and Medium Enterprise and Channel Finance Planning and Analysis (WW SME&C FP&A) team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our SME&C Finance leaders across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the WW SME&C Rhythm of Business (ROB), including forecasting and closing activities, with an emphasis on unifying our performance across Operating Units (OU) and Solution areas.
**Responsibilities**
**Prioritization**
+ Helps the team to manage the rhythm of the business for area of responsibility including monthly close, recurring business reviews, forecasting, and budgeting WW SME&C.
+ Conceptualizes and designs new approaches and metrics to how relevant financial data is collected and evaluated to impact future outcomes and decisions. Investigates and resolves discrepancies in data to ensure reliability. Performs risk management practices by analyzing the data management flows/sources for completeness and accuracy. Acts as subject matter expert for data management and operations.
+ Performs and reviews analysis, modeling, and research of present and future financial performance, financial plans (e.g., expected returns, resource allocation, pricing, investment opportunities, revenue, operational metrics, productivity metrics), and economic transactions (e.g., customer deals, commercial partnerships, acquisitions). Prepares and summarizes recommendations.

+ Provides insights into business health, industry benchmarks, and growth. Advances solutions and action plans to land accountabilities.
+ Understands business results and translates into forward looking point of view to drive strategic decisions with the senior leaders.
+ Facilitates to resolve complex issues and offer solutions to ensure business objectives are met. Shares business expertise to help others implement and execute their goals.
+ Partners with the Field SME&C Worldwide and WW Customer Solution Area (CSA) Finance teams on business insights and results to help improve the SME&C eco-system across sales and partners.
+ Understands the interconnections between data, information, and results and translates this into forward-looking narratives and forecasts.

+ Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance.
+ Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization. Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust; advocates, educates and promotes best practices and new developments.
+ Identify and share risks to compliance and take steps to mitigate.
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, controllership, or finance work experience
+ OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, controllership, or finance work experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working in an international matrix Finance organization.
+ Experience communicating with and presenting to global executives.
Financial Analysis IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
