About the Role

Workday is seeking a finance professional to join the General & Administrative (G&A) Finance team as a Senior Manager for the Business Technology (BT) and Strategy/Business Operations (S&BO) organizations. In this role, you will enable data-driven decisions by providing financial and operational analytics and forecasting, benchmarks, insights and recommendations. We’re looking for a finance leader that is organized, has the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders, uses data to influence, and collaborates across groups to drive optimal outcomes. This role will lead several individual contributors and will report to a Senior Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

Lead the team, being responsible for the establishment and management of timelines for all close, forecast, and annual planning processes, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of deliverables, including month-end and quarter-end close reporting packages.

Drive process improvement, standardization, and simplification. Provide standard and ad-hoc reporting and analysis, delivering impactful metrics and insights.

Lead, develop, coach, and train team members, encouraging a high-morale and high-performing organization.

Perform qualitative financial analysis of key performance indicators, generating insights into business performance and advising on the financial impact of operational decisions.

Develop deep industry knowledge through close collaboration with the business, proactively evaluating and influencing outcomes.

Serve as a trusted advisor, encouraging strong, collaborative partnerships with BT and S&BO Senior Leaders and Chiefs of Staff, fostering open communication and mutual trust.

Act as the primary point of contact and actively participate in cross-functional initiatives to establish robust measurement, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsabilidades:

About You

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in a business function like accounting or finance is preferred.

10+ years of related experience across FP&A, in a finance, accounting, consulting, or related business function.

Prior people leadership experience required.

Other Qualifications:

Proven track record to build scalable and repeatable processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience collaborating with IT and Data teams to drive operational improvements.

Expertise in building and optimizing FP&A close and reporting processes.

Uses financial data to gain insights into business performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Combines strong work ethic with a dedication to accuracy and attention to detail.

Effectively handles multiple priorities and deadlines.

Finance or Accounting experience in the software or SAAS industry.

High proficiency with MS Excel (Google Sheets) and PowerPoint (Google Slides).

Experience with Workday Adaptive Insights or similar financial planning tool a plus.

Cualificaciones básicas:

Título universitario en Contabilidad, Finanzas o campo relacionado. Se prefiere una maestría en alguna función de negocios como contabilidad o finanzas.

10 años o más de experiencia en ámbitos relacionados FP&A, en finanzas, contabilidad, consultoría o función comercial relacionada.

Es obligatorio contar con experiencia previa en liderazgo de personal.

Otras cualificaciones:

Experiencia demostrada en la creación de procesos escalables y repetibles, garantizando la precisión y la atención a los detalles.

Experiencia colaborando con equipos de TI y datos para impulsar mejoras operativas.

Utilizar los datos financieros para obtener insights sobre el rendimiento empresarial y contribuir a la toma de decisiones estratégicas.

Combinar una gran ética de trabajo con una dedicación a la precisión y la atención al detalle.

Gestionar de manera eficaz varias prioridades y plazos.

Experiencia en finanzas o contabilidad en el sector del software o SAAS.
