Are you an experienced FP&A professional with a knack for financial reporting and analysis? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to our financial planning and analysis efforts. This position is located in the Herndon/Reston area and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for the executive team.Consolidate annual plans and forecasts.Forecast monthly indirect costs for shared services.Reconcile cost pool allocations monthly, ensuring accuracy between the SIE and the trial balance.Maintain and configure CostPoint financial structures, including general ledger accounts, organizations, pool allocations, and financial statements.Provide ad hoc financial reporting for senior leadership.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.Strong knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and Cognos - 5+ years of experience, Power BI is a +Familiarity with indirect rates, pools and bases, and cost allocation from home office segments and intermediate cost pools.Experience in forecasting and budgeting financial statements for companies, divisions, or lines of business.Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and FAR.Experience in the government services market and understanding of contract structures.Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, charts, vlookups, conditional statements, linking, advanced formulas, data queries, and macros.Excellent data management skills, including data mining, queries, and report writing.Ability to develop financial and operational models to support planning processes, cost allocation metrics, and financial results.Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and solve complex accounting problems.Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
