ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: VP -Traditional Categories Commercial Finance

No Direct Reports

Geographic Scope:US with potential Global Business Partner Engagement

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Play a critical role ensuring the financial delivery and success of FMC, Traditional Oral, and Modern Oral by aligning financial strategies with commercial goals and objectivesPartner with Finance, Consumer & Trade Marketing, and Strategy & Planning utilizing historical data including performance to deliver key insights regarding financial deliveryPresent and communicate to leadership potential opportunities and risks related to financial and commercial performance and execute key initiativesUtilize historical data and incorporate future trends, opportunities, and risks to inform forward looking category contributionEstablish key metrics with measuring and providing insights on those metrics at the heart of the initiatives.Collaborate with US and global business partners to influence marketing investments and commercial decisionsTake on business challenges and work with cross-functional teams on special projects to deliver commercial solutions

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

3-5 years of commercial finance experience preferred.CPG industry experience.Strong knowledge of finance and commercial strategy.Understanding of consumers, customers, opportunities, and risk to drive business growth.Strong problem-solving skills.Entrepreneur mentality to see this business as your own and to drive results and performance.Demonstrate strategic thinking, with strong influencing and leadership skills.Ability to work under minimal supervision, while being a self-starter.Confidence and ability to challenge the status-quo to move the business forward.High sense of urgency, work ethic and flexibility.

 Master’s degree in Finance or MBACPA or CMA
