Senior Finance Manager - Payroll

Responsibilities: 

Provide strategic financial management and leadership for the Google Bay Area account related to payroll. 

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes specific payroll on the Google Bay Area account. 

Monitor and manage financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement within the account. 

Align employee coding with internal JLL expectations for proper revenue recognition for each business line 

Analyze financial data and provide insights to guide decision-making and support strategic business initiatives related to the Google Bay Area account. 

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop financial strategies and objectives tailored to the Google Bay Area account. 

Prepare and present financial reports, including budget variance analysis and financial forecasts, specific to the Google Bay Area account for internal and client stakeholders. 

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, JLL policies, and the specific requirements of the Google Bay Area account. 

Implement and maintain financial controls and processes to secure the integrity of financial information related to the Google Bay Area account. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and strategies with operational plans for the Google Bay Area account. 

Manage client contracts, financial negotiations, and financial aspects of vendor agreements related to the Google Bay Area account. 

Provide financial guidance and support to the Google Bay Area account team and stakeholders. 

Stay updated about financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in financial management. 

Lead financial audits related to the Google Bay Area account and coordinate with external auditors as needed. 

Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders associated with the Google Bay Area account. 

Contribute financial insights and recommendations to strategic planning for the Google Bay Area account. 

Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of finance professionals, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture within the context of the Google Bay Area account. 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. 

Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is preferred. 

Proven experience in a senior finance management role, preferably with experience managing financial operations for a client account in the services industry. 

Strong financial planning, analysis, and budgeting capabilities. 

Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards. 

Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration and build high-performing teams. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. 

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity. 

Familiarity with financial systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus. 

Estimated total compensation for this position:

168,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
