J&J Vision Supply Chain is recruiting a Senior Finance Manager (Plant Controller). The position will be responsible for the full range of controllership responsibilities for the Añasco manufacturing site, to ensure the timeliness, accuracy and integrity of all financial related information including compliance with Corporate, Enterprise Supply Chain and Franchise policies as well as GAAP. This position is located in Añasco, Puerto Rico.

The Plant Controller will manage the Finance function of the Añasco Manufacturing Plant, including general accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis, cost accounting, inventory control and entity planning/accounting. They will provide critical support as the key financial advisor to the Añasco management team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintaining the integrity of Añasco financial records and reporting.
+ Establish, implement and maintain appropriate site cost accounting, inventory and fixed asset control policies and procedures and ensure their effective execution.
+ Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP, J&J Worldwide Policies and Procedures and any local governmental requirements.
+ Participate as a key business partner and advisor to the site management team, supporting the plant with sound financial advice and analyses.
+ Develop, maintain and enhance the cost accounting system to provide accurate and timely unit costs, and insightful analyses of variance to budgeted standards.
+ In conjunction with Corporate Tax, support local compliance, reporting and advice to management on tax implications of operating decisions. This may involve review of supplier agreements and make / buy proposals.
+ Ensure proper controls over Assets and support operating decision making with advice on appropriate asset investment and management. This includes providing financial analysis for proposed capital projects and project expenses.
+ Jointly with the site leadership team, develop Financial Long Range Plan and implements the strategy for the plant, incorporating key initiatives to support commercial expansion, new product development, gross margin improvements and QA/compliance.
+ Develop, maintain, and support a high performance of the Finance Team. This includes effective staff selection, individual as well as team development and, if required, staff replacement.
+ Demonstrate strong, dynamic leadership of the plant Finance function by challenging the status quo, fostering change, inspiring a shared vision, development of group alignment, and fostering engagement and commitment.
+ Creates an environment where the team strives for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications**
+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. An MBA, CPA, CMA and/or other advanced degree(s) or financial certification(s) is preferred
+ A minimum 8 years of finance business experience is required

+ Demonstrated effectiveness building partnerships and collaborating at all levels and across multiple functions, locations, and divisions
+ Strong grasp of supply chain concepts coupled with passion for medical device technology / industry knowledge and a strategic approach
+ Strong technical accounting, analytical / financial business software, risk management and communication skills
+ Ability to work independently, handle several tasks simultaneously, and appropriately prioritize in fast-paced environment
+ This job is located in Añasco, Puerto Rico and may require up to 10% of travel, domestic and international.
